The M. Ed in Italian Education is a three-year research-based course that will give you the opportunity to carry out research and further your knowledge of aspects related to Italian language, linguistics, literature and culture. In the light of recent developments in the fields of applied linguistics and language teaching methodology which are relevant to the current situation of Italian in local schools, this course will equip you with the necessary skill-set to become a more refined and contemporary Italian educator. This is especially topical, since the major sociolinguistic and sociocultural developments of the past years have had an impact on the exposure to the Italian language in Malta.
